Rest Is Resistance. Joy Is Sacred. Agbara Is the Reset.

Because rest is a radical return to self.

Hey Queen,

This world will take everything if we let it. It demands our labor, our attention, our survival. What it rarely offers is space to rest. For Black women, choosing rest is not just about self-care. It is a refusal to be consumed. It is resistance.

At Agbara, rest is not a reward. It is a birthright.

You do not have to prove anything.

You do not have to explain your exhaustion.

You do not have to earn your way here.

Just arrive.

The Agbara retreat experience is designed for Black women who are carrying grief, burnout, transition, or pressure that never lets up.

This is where you lay it down. This is where you breathe again. This is where you remember you are not alone.

Rest is only part of the healing.

Joy is the other half.

We laugh, we dance, we write, we release.

We eat good food and speak our truth and make room for Spirit.

What we create together is more than a retreat.

It is a return to yourself.

We just released the dates for our 2026 retreats, and spaces fill quickly. If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.

The invitation is open, the space is set, and your reset is ready.

You do not need to fix anything first. You do not have to show up strong. Just show up.

Rest is resistance and joy is medicine.

Agbara is where you come home to both.

Ready for your reset?

Explore our newly released 2026 retreats for Black women and take the first step toward what you already deserve.

Your rest matters.

Your joy matters.

And so do you.
